(ANSA) - MILAN, AUGUST 04 - Intesa Sanpaolo closes the first half with a net profit of 3.02 billion, up by 17.8% compared to the 2.6 billion in the same period of 2020.
In 2021, the Intesa Sanpaolo group will expects a minimum net profit of € 4 billion.
In the second quarter of 2021, Intesa Sanpaolo posted a net profit of € 1.51 billion, up from € 1.41 billion in the same period last year.
The board of directors will convene the ordinary meeting - for the first half of October 2021 - to which it will submit the proposed cash distribution from the extraordinary reserve, based on the 2020 results, equal to 1.93 billion euros, resulting from a unit amount of 9 , 96 euro cents per operation. The board has preliminarily defined an amount equal to 1.4 billion euros as an advance payment to be distributed on the results of 2021. The down payment will be 7.21 euro cents for each share.
