(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 04 - Poste Italiane records in the first half of 2021 a "resumption of activities in line with forecasts with revenues growing in all divisions above pre-pandemic levels". The company highlights this by communicating the half-year results closed with a net profit increase of 42% to 773 million "confirming - he comments - the success achieved so far in the implementation of the strategic plan '24SI'".


    Revenues in the first six months of 2021 increase by 14% to 5.7 billion with "constant growth" which in the second quarter of the year is + 19% to 2.8 billion.


    "Our second quarter results testify to the successful implementation of the '24SI' strategic plan, highlighting the solidity of our physical and digital networks and the continuous progress on the strategic priorities we have set ourselves", comments the CEO. Matteo Del Fante: "Our diversified business model continues to produce excellent financial results with a net profit of 773 million euros in the first half of the year and, just four months after the launch of the strategic plan '24SI', we already have clear visibility on the achievement of the guidance provided for 2021 and trust in our numbers, "he says. The second quarter of 2021 marks an acceleration for Poste Italiane which closes the period with a net profit of 326 million, up 36.4% compared to the same period of thelast year. The operating result (Ebit) improved by 32% to 429 million. Revenues rose by 18.7% to 2.75 billion. (HANDLE).
