A container that was transported by a truck in the area of ​​the port of Buenos Aires fell this afternoon, after 13:30, 

on two parked cars.

Although the cars were seriously damaged, no injuries were reported. 

The curious episode occurred 

at the intersection of Castillo and Comodoro Py,

Retiro.

According to police sources, the accident was triggered after the truck

lost control when cornering.

The container that was moving in the trailer

 fell on the asphalt and on two parked cars

, in which there was no one inside, which prevented someone from being injured.

While the investigation progresses to determine the causes of the accident, agents of the City Police, firefighters and Civil Defense personnel work in the area without the need to interrupt traffic. 

They think the truck lost control when cornering.

Other accidents with containers

On June 23, a car, a van and a truck carrying a container staged a collision on the Pan-American Highway and caused a traffic chaos at kilometer 37 of the Pilar branch, towards the province of Buenos Aires.

The accident caused the truck to overturn and as a consequence the container blocked the three lanes under a bridge.
