A passenger, apparently drunk, who boarded a flight of the American low-cost carrier Frontier from Philadelphia to Miami, raged during the flight, screamed that his parents were "worth" two million dollars, aggressively touched two flight attendants and punched another flight attendant. A video taken by one of the passengers shows the sequence of events, including the moment when the passenger, Maxwell Berry (22), is attached to his seat by means of an adhesive tape. In another video, the young man is seen tied to a seat. He twists violently and shouts "Save! Save!".

The Daily Mail reports that after the incident it was decided to charge Berry with three counts. The young man, a Ohio resident, reportedly drank a number of alcoholic beverages during the flight. Then, he ordered another drink, which was spilled on his shirt. Berry went to the bathroom, but left without his shirt on. The crew had to find him another, clean shirt.

Berry then wandered around the cabin, touched the chests of two flight attendants and drove to hug them. Then,As mentioned, he punched one of the stewards in the face.

Alfredo Rivera, a passenger sitting in the seat behind Berry, grabbed the young man tightly, arguing with the steward,

and tried to subdue him.

"He started being aggressive, and attacked the steward," Rivera told reporters.

After the plane landed, Berry was taken into custody in the city of Miami.

The airline confirmed the details of the incident, stating that the flight attendants involved will not be flying until the circumstances of the case are clarified.

"During a flight from Philadelphia to Miami on July 31, a passenger made inappropriate physical contact with a flight attendant, and then physically assaulted another flight attendant," the airline said in a statement.

"As a result, the passenger had to be restrained until he landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived."

"The Most Inhuman Experience I Have Had"

Later, Berry tweeted on social media and commented on the videos that were circulated: Forever, this will be the most inhuman experience I have ever had in my life.

Many people laughed at me and made fun of me, after airline crew members abused me.

Treat me like an animal.

Can someone tell me what's funny about that? "Added Berry:" My life will change - videos become viral and disappear forever. "

Berry also created the hashtag JusticeForMaxwellBerry # (" Justice Maxwell Berry ") and noted that" I sure do not fly more at Frontier .

I certainly did not touch anyone, it's just the silly story the media spreads. "Berry later boasted that he himself could acquire the airline.

And more cases of violence on flights

Recently, there have been more and more cases of violence on flights, similar to this case.

Last June, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that since January 2021, airlines have reported more than 3,000 incidents involving passengers who have raged or violated aviation laws.

Nearly 76 percent of the incidents were related to not wearing a mask during the flight.

In January this year, the Aviation Administration even announced a "zero tolerance" policy towards cases of violence or disorderly conduct on the part of passengers.

Many passengers were even fined large sums, sometimes reaching as much as $ 30,000.

It was also reported that the number of incidents is three times higher than in the same period last year.
