(ANSA) - COMO, 05 AUG - Since the early hours of dawn, Lake Como has invaded the streets of the city, the lakefront and PiazzaCavour, following the abundant rains that have fallen in the last two days on the Comasco and on the entire Adda basin, starting from Valtellina.

At 9 the level of the Lario was 134 centimeters,: in the last six hours it has increased by almost 20 centimeters and in the next few hours - even if the sun has returned - it will continue to rise.

Traffic has been diverted to internal roads, but there is already fear of what will happen tomorrow, with the resumption of the construction site on the A9 which will divert heavy traffic from Northern Europe to ordinary roads.
