(ANSA) - BOLZANO, AUGUST 05 - In South Tyrol the firefighters are monitoring the rivers, whose levels have risen after the intense rainfall last night.
In some places they have come out of the banks.
Between Cardano and Prato Isarco, north of Bolzano, a landslide has invaded the Brennero state road which is still blocked.
The Brenner railway is also currently closed.
The Isarco and the Rienza are of particular concern. The level of the Isarco in Chiusa reached 4.20 meters at 4:30, only 19cm less than the flood of 30 August 2020. In Chiusa, the civil protection alarm also went off with the invitation to the inhabitants to remove their cars from the underground garages . In Bolzano a homeless man was surprised by the raising of the Isarco, but was rescued by the fire brigade with a rubber boat. The roads and paths that run along the Aurino have been closed. (HANDLE).
