A young man arranged for a large-scale police operation in Berlin.
The 18-year-old had fired several shots from his apartment on Thursday night.
As the police announced, this was noticed by a passerby who was walking her dog on Neue Schönhauser Strasse.
The woman informed the police, who then came with a large contingent.
"After extensive cordoning off measures, the police force opened the door of an apartment on the second floor by order of the public prosecutor," the police said.
Two airsoft pistols secured
The 18-year-old tenant was found there and arrested.
In addition, two airsoft pistols were seized from the apartment.
After a blood sample and identification treatment in a police station, the young man was released shortly afterwards.
"The investigation against him for attempted dangerous bodily harm and violation of the gun law continues," said the police.
In February, a 17-year-old in camouflage clothing armed with an airsoft pistol triggered a police operation in Berlin.
