The "Sirplus Bio Superfood Berry Mix" in the 500 gram package has to be recalled.
During an inspection, small pieces of broken glass were found.
Berlin - Sirplus GmbH, based in Berlin, has to recall its "Sirplus Bio Superfood Berry Mix" in the 500 gram packaging.
According to the manufacturer, there is a recall because small pieces of glass were found in the corresponding product as part of a quality control.
Although this would not have been repeated in other samples, it cannot be ruled out that there will be more 500 gram bags of the berry mix with broken glass.
Specifically, it is the "Sirplus Bio Superfood Berry Mix" with the best before date (BBD) 16.08.2021 and the LOS label 2006052021.

Since there is a possible risk of injury from swallowing any sharp-edged foreign bodies, i.e. broken glass, the recall will take place with immediate effect and in the interests of preventive health protection.
"Consumption is strongly discouraged," said Sirplus.
Consumers who already have packaging for the product in question can return it to all Sirplus stores.
There is no explicit mention of a reimbursement of the costs.
According to reports, 14 of the 16 federal states are affected by the recall.
Meanwhile, two types of cheese from Gillot SAS are also being recalled.
The manufacturer fears “health problems” that his product could cause.
