Can I get a refund for a flight / vacation I booked in the summer / holidays?
It depends.
If the passenger has decided to cancel the flight, even though it is still taking place at the destination, and the passenger has not purchased Corona insurance or a ticket that allows a change of date - he will not receive a refund.

"If you book a holiday at the hotel 14 days in advance - it can be canceled. But whoever booked before that, depends on the hotel's policy," explains Weinstock-Thierry.
"Sometimes a credit is approved, but there is no obligation to return money and it is subject to the policy of each hotel, but most of the time they try to be flexible."
I have a connexion flight through a "red" country.
Do I have to go into isolation?
If you are required to fly a connexion flight through a country defined as "red" or "at maximum risk", and do not stay there for more than 12 hours at the airport - you will not have to return to isolation in the country, beyond 24 hours or until the corona test results return.

Which countries require a week's isolation back to the country?
On Tuesday (Tuesday), the Corona Cabinet decided to add another 18 countries to the list of countries that will require seven days of isolation when returning to Israel, both vaccinated and recovering. The isolation of returnees from these countries will take place this coming Wednesday, August 11th.

"When buying a plane ticket or a holiday at a hotel today, one must take into account that there is Corona and it is worth taking cancellation insurance and not relying on Tibi law, which only applies if the flight is canceled, regardless of whether the country has turned red," explains Weinstock-Thierry.
