It is expected that in the next few hours there will be news about the flight trap, for which thousands of Argentines were stranded abroad.
The measure was taken at the beginning of July, to delay the arrival of the Delta variant to the country.
Within hours of the expiration of the current decree, the Government is now evaluating making the quota more flexible.
It would be a "gradual and progressive increase" of the limit, although it would remain below the 2,000 residents and Argentines who could return to Argentina.
Vaccine news
From Health they announced on Wednesday that the combination of vaccines against the coronavirus will be put into practice: those who have received the first dose of Sputnik V will be able to choose between waiting for the second Russian component or completing their scheme with Moderna or AstraZeneca.
It was defined after evaluating the preliminary results of a study carried out in five provinces of Argentina and in the link of these conclusions with research carried out in other countries.
In principle, explained Carla Vizzotti, Fernán Quirós and Nicolás Kreplak, the campaign will begin with 1.7 million doses of Moderna, the remainder that remains after inoculating all boys between 12 and 17 years old with risk factors.
They are vaccines donated by the United States.
