(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 05 - Massive seizure in Nigeria of elephant tusks and pangolin claws destined for the illegal trade in wild species. The local authorities announced this, underlining that it was a "record quantity", for a value of 54 million dollars: over 17,100 kilograms of pangolin claws and parts and 44 kilos of elephant tusks the illegal batch seized, the colonel said in a statement.
