A protest by social organizations and left-wing movements ended with
injuries from rubber bullets and fire in
front of the Municipality of Lomas de Zamora.
The protesters managed to
enter the municipal headquarters by force in the
middle of a strong confrontation with the Buenos Aires Police officers who were trying to disperse them with rubber bullets.
The bulk of the protesters belongs to the Teresa Rodríguez Movement (MTR) and they came to the municipality to complain against the government of Martín Insaurralde.

"Faced with the systematic neglect of the government of Martín Insaurralde, residents of Lomas have decided to
enter the municipal palace to
directly
demand
that the mayor give concrete responses to popular demands," they said from the MTR.
From that movement they detailed that the three main claims to the municipal government are "genuine work and public works in the neighborhoods", "improvement of the public health system" and "recognition of the picnic areas and popular soup kitchens with the assistance of resources."
The Police repressed the advance of the protesters with rubber bullets.

"Faced with these claims,
the only response from the municipality was repression.
We have comrades beaten, gassed and with rubber bullets, but we will continue to resist the cut outside the municipality until Insaurralde de la cara," the protesters warned from the movement's social networks .

Insaurralde: "Something like this never happened to us"
The mayor of Lomas de Zamora, Martín Insaurralde, targeted "a group of violent men" who, according to him, "used a group of neighbors" who have legitimate claims to provoke incidents.
"
This is a different and atypical event, which never happened to us
. They were violent groups that used different neighbors," Insaurralde said in statements to Channel 13.
The communal chief said that he was not in the municipality and that it was first the employees who tried to resist the entry of the protesters and that only later did the police arrive.
"I was in the Lomas park in an activity when they started to enter. I want to get closer and I cannot, I wait in the car for half an hour or 40 minutes. It was civilian personnel who resisted. They began to enter, to break the windows and there if the police could support it, "he said.
