After a large-scale search, the police in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania found a missing boy.
The four-year-old was on his father's van, which was discovered in Stralsund, as a police spokesman said.
The child is doing well.
According to the police, the boy's father from Königs Wusterhausen near Berlin was found disoriented and confused in Stralsund early in the morning - without shoes and with gaps in memory.
The 39-year-old could neither say where his vehicle is nor give an exact description of his son.
The man is said to have health problems.
The police had seen danger for the boy and started a large-scale search, a helicopter was also in use.
Around 8:40 a.m., the boy was then found near the vehicle he was looking for in the urban area of Stralsund.
