(ANSA) - BEIJING, AUGUST 05 - China will provide two billion doses of vaccines against Covid-19 to the rest of the world by the end of 2021 and will donate 100 million dollars to the Covid program, under the leadership of the World Health Organization (WHO ). In his speech at the International Forum for Vaccine Cooperation edited by Beijing, President Xi Jinping assured that China "will continue to do everything possible to help developing countries cope with the pandemic".
The forum, via videoconference, wants to "strengthen international cooperation on vaccines" and promote their distribution, the Foreign Ministry said in a note. (HANDLE).
