The Locarno Film Festival has chosen a clear and proactive slogan.
The Covid will not have had the skin of the seventh art, or the leopard, emblem of the Swiss meeting which is the same age as the Cannes Film Festival.
The fight is not over and the pandemic hangs over this 74th edition, subject to the rules that now make festive gatherings ordinary.
Health pass, limited capacity in theaters, online ticket reservation… A nightmare for technophobes, a dream for moviegoers.
Because, despite these constraints, Locarno is back.
Canceled in 2020, the festival finds its soul, that is to say its audience.
