(ANSA) - FLORENCE, 06 AUGUST - FLORENCE, 06 AUG - Good start for the Florentine museums this morning for the debut of the compulsory green pass to enter the cultural sites.

"There is no queue and we have not registered any problems", says Riccardo Pollastri, representative of the RSU of Opera Laboratori who coordinates the reception of the Uffizi which today have 4,500 booked.

"The only fact that repeats itself is that the green pass becomes active after 15 days have passed since the first dose, while people think it is valid as soon as they receive it. of pharmacies that make quick swabs ". The green certificate is checked at the entrance to the museum: four readers are in use today, three for the reserved row and one for the other queue. And there are also those who made the DIY pad directly in the Uffizi square. "Our parents are vaccinated - explains a lady - our children not yet, so we brought the kit from Austria". For the management of hospitality with the green pass, Opera Laboratories, which also manages the service in the Bargello complex,Galleria dell'Accademia and San Marco, has brought 10 employees back to work from the integration fund. Two are in the Accademia Gallery. "No delays on entrances - says an employee - only a couple of people made a controversy". All is well even at the Bargello where the green pass is checked outside the museum, before the ticket office. "90% are here with the certificate in hand - explains an Opera operator - we have never had a queue". In Piazza Duomo, however, there is a long queue to enter the cathedral. "There is a slight slowdown in the checks - explains an employee - but the queue is normal in the high season, it is going better than expected". The green certificate made its debut today also in municipal libraries. At the Oblate, however, there isit is an external help desk for the collection and return of books.
