(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 06 - The council of ministers gave the green light last night to the new decree on the Green Pass.
From today the new rules take effect with bars and restaurants ready to check.
The certificate will then be mandatory for school and university staff, as well as on long-distance transport (from 1 September) but not in hotels.
Masks can be removed at school if "only vaccinated or cured students participate in the activities".
