The pro-Iranian Lebanese Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the launch of 10 rockets from Lebanon towards the Shebaa Farms, disputed between Syria, Lebanon and Israel, in the eastern sector of the Blue Line between Lebanon and Israel.
This was reported in a statement by the Lebanese Shiite movement itself, according to which they are 122 mm caliber Katyuscia rockets.
The claim states that this is a "response to Israeli air strikes on Thursday night", which in turn were carried out after several rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory from May to early August.
