Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games: What does the Paris 2024 Olympic Games handover ceremony have in store?

If we know that this handover ceremony will take place, the mystery hangs over its staging.

However, we know that there will be no physical or artistic performance in the Tokyo stadium: a direct from Paris is planned and this is where the surprises could take place.

The protocol will be respected to the letter and it is the governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike, who will hand over the flag to Thomas Bach, President of the IOC.

It will then be sent to the mayor of Paris, Anne Hildago, who will be there.

This ceremony will be watched live and unencrypted on France 2, from 12:40 pm this Sunday, and until approximately 3:30 pm.

The spirit of the Olympics will continue for a few more hours since Tony Estanguet, president of Paris 2024, will be the guest of the channel's 20-hour newspaper, to talk about the organization of the summer Olympics in France in 3 years. Several Tokyo medalists should also be there.
