But these measures, in some situations, were not enough to stem the surge of the epidemic and the fourth wave of Covid-19.

As such, several prefects have taken localized decisions concerning the obligation to wear the mask, in particular in the town centers of coastal municipalities, particularly affected because popular destinations for holidays.

Do not worry if you cannot find answers concerning a specific place: the prefectural decrees which impose these new restrictions also indicate that the areas in which the wearing of a mask is compulsory must be indicated with signs or posters. .

This charge generally falls to town halls.
