The Delta variant continues to increase hospital pressure.
The number of new patients fell to 482 against 862 yesterday, but the trend is still on the rise since the hospital now has 8,425 Covid-19 patients against 8,368 the night before.
52 more Covid beds in intensive care
This Saturday evening, 1,510 patients are suffering from a severe form of the disease which requires management within critical care services.
This is 52 more “Covid beds” in intensive care compared to the previous day, which had 1,458 patients in critical care.
The number of deaths is also a little lower than yesterday with 32 new patients who died as a result of the Covid against 60 yesterday but the trend remains sharply higher.
