The Ministry of Education has set the fifth of next September as the date for the start of the study for the school year 2021-2022 in all public and private schools, seized and the like of all kinds and levels of kindergarten, basic education, preparatory education, legal secondary, public and legal secondary, industrial, commercial and women’s vocational “including students of the category B curriculum” “The administrators and teachers will work, starting from the morning of Sunday, August 29.
The ministry specified, according to a statement that SANA received a copy of, two lessons for social emotional learning, stressing that during the first two weeks of the beginning of the school year, focus should be placed on reviewing and restoring the information of the previous school year in the basic and secondary education stages, where there will be a program that the student can assess himself initially in the level of learning and then undergo teacher evaluation.
The Ministry confirmed its keenness to achieve an actual working time of 35 weeks, so that the number of working days is 175 days, and to ensure the continuity of the reliability of the Syrian educational system.
According to the statement, the first semester exam was set for January 5 next, and the second semester exam for May 18 next year.
