Coronavirus in Argentina: 6,141 new cases and 158 other deaths confirmed in the last 24 hours

In the midst of a sustained decline in COVID-19 infections, this Sunday the Government released updated figures on the pandemic.

In the last 24 hours,

6,141 new cases and another 158 deaths

from coronavirus

were confirmed

in Argentina.

In this way, the country has

5,018,895

detected infections (the

8th

largest record globally) and

107,459

deaths (

11th

) since the start of the health crisis, in March of last year.

All these figures were published in the health report prepared by the Ministry of Health, based on the data provided by the provinces.

There are currently 

241,675 patients

with the disease diagnosed in the country, of which

3,675

developed serious

symptoms

and are admitted to intensive care units (ICU).
