In terms of audiences, the match of the French men's volleyball team is not to be outdone.
The meeting, which was first broadcast on France 3 from 2.15 p.m., initially attracted 2.7 million viewers.
From the dropout on France 2, the audience took off to 5.7 million people.
All for a colossal audience share: 45.9%.
A match finally won by France against Russia, three sets to two, to offer the French delegation its 9th gold medal in Tokyo.
