Tav: Lamorgese, correct police reaction to violence

(ANSA) - TURIN, AUGUST 09 - In matters of public order linked to the construction sites for the Tav in the Susa valley "the activities we are carrying out have been corrected, with the right moderation and with that sense of responsibility that are proper to the police forces in face complicated situations ".

   This was said today in Turin by the Minister of the Interior, Luciana Lamorgese, after having taken part in the Provincial Committee for public order and safety. Lamorgese added that "in the face of aggressive behavior you need to have that way of reacting typical of those who want to carry on the concept of lawfulness".

    On the issue of the TAV, "the compensation measures for Hindus in my opinion represent a fundamental point", said Minister Lamorgese. The minister announced that, with regard to compensation, he "made a commitment to hear the competent administration". (HANDLE).
