(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 10 - The US envoy for Afghanistan is traveling to Doha in Qatar to urge the Taliban to stop their military offensive and negotiate a political agreement, announced the US State Department.

Yesterday the militiamen conquered the sixth capital.

The assault also launched in the center of Farah.

27 children were killed in 72 hours in the country, UNICEF says.
