Gaeta the most relaxing, San Benedetto del Tronto the most suitable for families with children, Jesolo the most fun.
This is the verdict of Panorama turismo - Mare Italia of the Jfc Observatory of seaside destinations which, like last year, takes into account the Covid situation with a special category, that of the destinations considered to be the safest from a health point of view, on whose summit there is Rimini.
Specifically, at the top of the most "relaxing and peaceful" seaside destinations, Gaeta scores 887 points, even more appreciable if we consider that last year it was not among the top twenty destinations in the ranking. Followed by Capri (who had won this ranking last year) with 856 points, while in third place is Orbetello (17th last year) with 812 points. In fourth and fifth place Follonica - which maintains the same position compared to last year's standings - with 788 points and Pietrasanta with 754 points, thus bringing the Tuscan destinations among the top five to three.
Rimini, with a score of 1,019 points, confirms the leadership of the last summer season as a seaside destination that is perceived by Italians as the one capable of guaranteeing the highest level of health safety.
Trailing by only 8 points in second place is Capri, which with 1,011 points rises two places compared to last year's ranking. Jesolo third with 987 points, which improves by two positions. Then we find Cervia-Milano Marittima with 786 points and two positions conquered, then Riccione (745 points) which instead drops three steps in the standings. In these cases there are three Romagna destinations among the top five classified.
As a seaside destination considered by Italians to be able to respond optimally to the needs of families with children, San Benedetto del Tronto is in first place with a score of 1,002 points, followed in second place by Rimini with 956 and, in third position , from Cesenatico with 912 points. Bibione then follows with 878 points and Misano Adriatico with 845. Also in this case there are three Romagna destinations among the first five classified.
According to Jfc, the most enjoyable seaside destination is Jesolo with a score of 989 points, followed at a short distance by Riccione with 967 points and, in third position, by Gallipoli with 934. These three destinations considerably distance all other locations, starting with Porto Cervo with 793 points and Rimini with 765 points.
