Due to an industrial accident, there could be glass in several batches of sea salt.
The manufacturer is recalling the products for consumer protection reasons.
Heilbronn - The glass splinters could come from a lamp.
This broke in the operation of a pre-supplier, according to the product recall of the salt brand Aquasale, which can be viewed on the website of the same name.
For safety reasons, Südwestdeutsche Salzwerke AG therefore urges consumers to return the goods concerned.

Foreign bodies in food: health hazard
The Südwestdeutsche Salzwerke AG apologizes on the Aquasale website "to all those affected for the inconvenience caused".
In principle, foreign bodies in food always pose a certain health risk.
Splinters of glass, as well as splinters of wood or plastic, can lead to serious injuries to the mouth and throat.
Internal injuries or bleeding cannot be ruled out either.
