(ANSA) - TOKYO, 11 AUG - The Tokyo Stock Exchange begins trading with a plus sign, despite the mixed closure of US stock indices, while the season of corporate quarterly reports continues in Japan, with results that are largely above expectations.
At the opening, the Nikkei gained 0.54% to 28,037.70, and a gain of 149 points.
On the currency front, the loyen remained little changed on the dollar at 110.60, and at 129.60 on the euro.
