Big fear for Jeremstar.
The influencer with several million subscribers appears in tears on his latest Instagram video.
“I experienced a real tragedy, I almost died,” he explains.
While hiking with his friend Zaz in Banyuls-sur-mer (Pyrénées-Orientales), last Monday, the videographer fell 5 meters which could have been fatal.
“We were walking and then at one point we were looking for access to the beach and I slipped… It was extremely fast.
The ground was extremely slippery.
I fell and found myself balancing on a root… I was on a steep slope.

Suspended above the ravine, Jeremstar first tries to get out with the help of his friend… "It was slipping, I don't know how I was hanging on, I almost let go… It was really horrible" , he says again.
Faced with the danger and the difficulty of the situation, the two friends decide, after an hour, to warn the firefighters who will come quickly to help him.
“They did a remarkable job, it was very perilous for them,” said the star.
Who also writes in commentary on his video: “They literally saved my life yesterday.
I remained immobilized for 2 hours above 15 meters of vacuum.
The worst time of my life ”.

Since its publication, the video has created a buzz (with more than 430,000 views in one day).
And the firefighters of Banyuls-sur-Mer, filmed during the intervention, appear as real heroes.
“They did their rescue work as they do every day for other people, moderates one of theirs, at the SDIS66 (Departmental fire and rescue service).
Jeremstar got a little too close to the edge and the stone under his feet crumbled from the current hot weather.
He spent Wednesday morning thanking us at the barracks and we have since received a lot of requests for interviews from journalists, but the firefighters who intervened have already left on a fire in Banyuls… ”

The Banyuls firefighters who came to the aid of Jeremstar, in great difficulty on the coastal path, are presented as heroes in the influencer’s latest Instagram video.

The mayor of the city was also surprised by the scale of the phenomenon: “It is about a misadventure which fortunately ends well, says Jean-Michel Solé.
I saw this on the internet, although I didn't look too much at social media and didn't know Jeremstar.
This hiking trail (Editor's note: the coastal path) is not particularly dangerous but you still have to be careful and well equipped.
If in the end this makes Banyuls-sur-Mer known, so much the better.
Because the city deserves it, and its firefighters too!
