Covid-19: European Union addresses possible new side effects of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines

The European Medicines Agency is currently studying a few conditions to determine whether a causal link exists with the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Three conditions are currently the focus of the safety committee of the European Medicines Agency. A “benefit / risk” ratio always in favor of the vaccine

A month ago, the European Medicines Agency identified a possible link between injection of serum using Messenger RNA technology and very rare cases of inflammation of the heart muscle. For now, the agency has not communicated on the number of cases it had identified but claims to have requested additional data from Pfizer and Moderna. For its part, the World Health Organization continues to assert that the balance “benefits / risks” was still largely in favor of vaccination. Apart from the three conditions mentioned above, the menstrual disorders that affected some women who recently received the Pfizer vaccine have also been the subject of very special monitoring for two weeks.

So far, no link has been established between these disorders and the injection of a messenger RNA serum.
