We cannot repeat it enough: the Salzburg Festival is in five weeks the entire season of an opera house, a concert hall and a theater in a big capital. All concentrated in a town of 150,000 inhabitants, the equivalent of Angers or Villeurbanne. In 2020, the 100th anniversary of the event had been affected by the pandemic, the consequences of which we were only discovering, but the Festival was nonetheless one of the few to open its doors, with a reduced programming and a protocol. sanitary ware from which theaters around the world were to be inspired.
