The Levinstein Group reported yesterday (Wednesday) to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange that its subsidiary Levinstein Nativ Engineering and Building together with Solel Boneh were selected by the Azrieli Group to carry out the work of the main contractor in the Azrieli "Spiral" project in Tel Aviv. The parties work together to sign an execution agreement. When its construction is completed, it will be considered the tallest building in Israel.
The project includes the construction of a 91-story tower with a mix of uses, of which about 171 residential units are for rent, in addition to employment and commercial areas, over 7 basement floors and a total of about 180,000 square meters of construction space. The works are expected to begin during the first quarter of 2022. The total scope of work for Levinstein Nativ and its partner is estimated at NIS 600 million.
According to the company, the tower will be a "symbol of new urbanity", which includes a mix of uses that will also include a hotel.
The summit of the tower will include space for conferences and meetings, entertainment and a 360-degree view of Tel Aviv and the surrounding area.
The tower will be built on the ruins of Yedioth Ahronoth at the corner of Begin and Mozes streets in Tel Aviv.
On the plot, Azrieli paid NIS 374 million to the Mozes family in 2013.
According to the Calcalist newspaper, the full investment in the project is NIS 2.5 billion.
