A 25-year-old woman with an international arrest warrant, and who is on Interpol's list of red notifications as
one of the most wanted in Argentina
, was arrested in Esteban Echeverría's Buenos Aires party and was brought to justice.
They are investigating her for scams committed against the elderly.
The arrest occurred at the intersection of Boulevard Buenos Aires and Azcuénaga, in Monte Grande, Esteban Echeverría's district, where personnel from the Special Cases of the DDI La Plata located Quimey Kaiane Gazal when he
was aboard a Ford Ka
heading to a center commercial in that area.
According to police sources,
the young woman's car was followed by investigators
, who intercepted her to identify her.
Quimey Kaiane Gazal was arrested when she was aboard a Ford Ka heading to a shopping center in that area.
The spokesmen said that Gazal provided another identity, although she was recognized and detained.
The woman had an international arrest warrant at the request of the Azul Justice, accused of being part of an illicit association dedicated to committing fraud against the elderly.
The case in which she is involved is investigated in the Functional Unit 20 of General Alvear, dependent on the Azul courts, under the heading of "illicit association and fraud".
