First aiders in Upper Bavaria rescued a man and his one and a half year old child from a burning car.
The father came to the hospital in a rescue helicopter.
According to the police, he was seriously injured on Saturday, but his life is not in danger.
The child is unharmed.
The 35-year-old drove his car on a district road in Upper Bavarian Hettenshausen in the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district on Friday.
According to initial findings, the car came off the road after a curve and hit a wall.
The police said it caught fire immediately.
According to witness statements, the 35-year-old and his child were caught in the flames.
"Then smashed the window in the back and got the child out of the car," a first aider told the Vifogra news agency.
The officials are now investigating the exact cause of the accident.
