Like Luisa Spagnoli who presented her collection in a historic villa in Milan with the dress code of the garden party. H&M has announced a collaboration with Los Angeles-based women's brand Brock Collection: accessible opulence mixed with the ease of street style and a dash of fashion from decades past. Country flowers, laced shoulder straps and corset-like details emphasize craftsmanship, while feminine silhouettes and contrasting denim garments give a city feel. The line of dresses, denim and accessories were made with sustainable materials. The brand, founded in 2014 by Laura Vassar and Kristopher Brock, is known for its refined aesthetic and vintage garments. Fitted silhouettes mixed with ruffles and lightweight, more sustainable fabrics such as organic linen and cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel Lyocell, give life to voluminous skirts and tops with balloon sleeves, but also to dresses, blouses, tops, jeans and denim shorts.

The Max Mara Resort 2022 collection that showed in Ischia starts from the theme of travel. "Local Color" by Truman Capote evokes the golden age of travel, in stark contrast to the frenzy of some travels made before the pandemic forced us home. Max Mara thinks of the life of legendary women who went to Paris every season to renew their wardrobe, stayed at the Plaza Athénée between sophisticated lunches at the Ritz and dinners at Maxim's. The collection reinterprets the 1950s silhouettes with a sporty touch and presents a series of graphic prints in shades ranging from red, to powder, through pink, to the scarlet color of the geraniums that fall along the facade of the Plaza Athénée.

At Kenzo references and points of the SS 2021 collection are as varied and contrasting as the moods that have crossed the soul of the designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista who designed it since the beginning of the pandemic. "The world was crying, and the flowers on the prints in the collection are crying too" explained the Portuguese designer who left the artistic direction of the maison on June 30th. Poppies and hydrangeas from the Kenzo archives have been digitally processed with a tear effect.

From flowers, the primordial feeling of protection and shelter has become an ode to bees, the regulatory insects of the planet.

Bees and beekeepers with their fascinating clothes and hats that reflect in a decisive way the fragility and distance imposed and still necessary.

Vivetta's surrealist world also for winter 2021 looks to nature and the beauty of flowers. An archival floral print designed in the 1920s is reinterpreted through the graphics of a 1990s manga fairy tale. Elusive and undulating in floating signs, it is vibrant with sunny and saturated colors, warm and decisive: sunny yellow, intense green, pink and orange. Reproduced on A-line cut nylon pinafore; inlaid on soft A-line duvets; picked up on longuette dresses with large white collars and on short baby-dolls with a honeycomb yoke dotted with rhinestones, it becomes the fil rouge that gives expressive energy to the collection. Trompe-l'oeils and surrealist accents, typically Vivetta, they recur in the collars carved with floral motifs resting on a gray cloth coat adorned with ribbons and velvet bows, like that of a child; in the soft mohair polo shirt to which an identical polo shirt in a contrasting color is applied on the front, as if it were cut for a doll. Blonde or black braids become the laces of a sweat-shirt, or stretch from the collar of a crisp white popelin shirt. Small miniaturized pullovers become brooches or are sewn like Lilliputian pockets on oversized sweaters.Small miniaturized pullovers become brooches or are sewn like Lilliputian pockets on oversized sweaters.Small miniaturized pullovers become brooches or are sewn like Lilliputian pockets on oversized sweaters.
