Llamas was delayed by the prefecture during a control on the Panamericana, when he was traveling aboard his truck full of surfboards after returning to the country through the Paso de los Libres border.

When they delayed him, he was returning from Brazil, where he had been since March 8.
According to his own statements, he entered the country on March 23, a day before the Prefecture stopped him and escorted him to his home in Flores, from which he left immediately after the agents left the scene.
