A car
fell this Sunday from a ravine
facing the sea in Mar del Plata, after its driver lost control of the vehicle and fell on the rocks in the Playa Chica area.
Despite the violent incident, the man
was unhurt
.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours, in the middle of a long weekend.
A 22-year-old young man, identified as Gabriel Chiguini, was driving along the seaside resort's Boulevard Marítimo in a Toyota Corolla,
after leaving work
in a hotel establishment.
Police and Civil Defense sources indicated to the Télam agency that upon reaching the curve located at the height of Gascón Street, the driver lost control of the car, which climbed onto the sidewalk, hit the wall of the coastal walk and fell on rocks
from a height of more than 10 meters.
He lost his way on the coast and his car crashed into the rocks of Playa Chica, Mar del Plata.

The young man suffered no injuries and
managed to get out of the vehicle by his own means
, which was destroyed on the stones, a few meters from the sea.
Municipal sources indicated that the driver did not present traces of alcohol in his blood, and that rakes were carried out at the site to rule out the possible participation of another vehicle in the accident.
In the place, personnel from the 9th Police Station, the Municipal Patrol and Civil Defense intervened, who deployed an operation to try to remove the car from the rocks with a crane.
