The hotel, only five years old, near the historic residence of the Bezalel School, is dedicated to Israeli design and art.
On all 6 floors of the hotel and its 37 rooms, original Israeli works are displayed, even in the elevator and the toilets.
The hotel looks from the outside like a residential building made of typical Jerusalem stone, and inside combines old and new - you will be greeted by an Armenian ceramic tile wall from the Blian studio founded in Jerusalem in 1922, next to a 1984 black and white photograph taken by photographer Avraham Chai, the painter and sculptor Menashe Kadishman.
Like all tourist institutions in the country, the Bezalel Hotel was closed for more than a year and only opened in mid-April, and there is joy and excitement of returning to routine.

But if you are a couple, a family with older children or a bunch - this hotel is a good option for those who want to relax with a good glass of wine after hours of wandering around the capital.
The price per night at the hotel will cost you NIS 1,400-900 per couple in a room with a terrace and a view of the Nachlaot neighborhood. Each room has a luxurious bed topped with a work of art, an espresso machine and a guest kit in Corona with a mask and bacterial wipes. The public spaces will offer you a Happy Hour in the afternoon and a modest breakfast where you will be pampered in person at "Upside Down".
Jerusalem after the Corona has not yet fully recovered - quite a few shops, restaurants and cafes in the city are still closed.
