The Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources has announced the acceptance of applications for the enrollment of successful students in the Basic Education Certificate for the year 2021 in the first secondary grade in its “Oil - Mines and Mining” vocational high schools.
In a statement, which SANA received a copy of, the ministry indicated that admission is based on the differentiation of grades for all registered students, according to the capacity of each secondary school.
The ministry specified the conditions for applying for the differentiation, which is that the applicant should be male, free from diseases and infirmities, and healthy enough to work in the field of the oil and mining industry, and his marks in the basic education certificate should not be less than 2000 degrees for the oil vocational high school in Homs, 2300 degrees for the oil vocational high school in Baniyas, and 1600 degrees for the secondary The oil profession in Rmelan and about 1900 degrees for the secondary vocational school for mines and mining in Homs.
25% of the capacity of each secondary school is allocated to the children of workers in the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources and its affiliates, provided that their grades are not less than 275 degrees than the minimum acceptable in the general differentiation, by conducting their own differentiation, in addition to three seats for each profession to accept the children of martyrs who They did not accept the normal admission, as a special comparison is held for them after the results of the general comparison are announced.
The Ministry indicated that the start of registration for accepting the basic education certificate holders for the 2021 session will be from Sunday morning 8/22-2021 until the end of official working hours on Tuesday, 8/31/2021.
