Afghanistan: plane landed at Fiumicino with Kabul repatriates

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 16 - The Kc767 of the Air Force coming from Kabul landed in Fiumicino bringing back 74 people who left Afghanistan after the advance of the Taliban: they are embassy personnel, compatriots who were in the Country and about twenty Afghan collaborators at risk of retaliation if they remained in the country. It is the first flight of the airlift set up by the Defense to evacuate fellow countrymen from Afghanistan. (HANDLE).
