Flight Simulation to Dubai (Simulator Squadron)

This case has provoked quite a bit of controversy on social media - and probably rightly so, since it is a real dilemma.

It was recently reported on the Sun website that a passenger on a flight whose details were not provided, decided to pay an extra price for a seat in a row where there is quite extensive legroom.

During the flight, he was asked to vacate his seat and move to another seat on the plane so that a family of six could sit together.

The passenger refused the request, especially in light of the fact that it was a 10-hour flight.

He said that from that moment on, he received contemptuous looks from other passengers, during the flight.

The passenger posted the case on the social media site Reddit, writing "I paid an extra amount of money for a seat in the front of the cabin, in front of a large partition, so that I would have a large legroom. 20 hours ".

The passenger further added that an adult passenger couple, with two children as young as eight and two babies, wanted to sit in the same row, which has four seats and space for a baby carrier.

He received the request to change the place from the flight attendant. "I explained to her that I had paid extra for this seat, and she responded by saying that the seat she was asking me to move to was equally comfortable."

He further explained that although it is the same type of seat and the same class, it is in the aisle, and without space for the legs. The said man refused to move, and as a result the family members did not sit together. He further added that from that moment on, the service he received from the crew of the plane was "disgusting", and in fact "forgot" to serve him.

"Parents think we'll do whatever they want"

Most of the respondents to the post posted by the passenger on Reddit agreed that his actions were not wrong.

"You paid more money and planned everything in advance. They did not. Too many parents think we all just do everything they ask of us, even if they do not pay for the service or do not plan ahead," wrote one respondent.

Others argued that the air crew had to find him an equally comfortable and spacious seat, if asked to move.

"I would even try to sell this seat," commented another surfer.

On the other hand, there were quite a few respondents, mostly family owners, who said that they often booked adjacent seats on the plane, only to find that the air crew separated them prior to the flight.

Another respondent added that "it is not always possible to order a whole row. Sometimes there is no choice but to order three adjacent seats out of four, and then hope that someone on the plane will agree to swap with you."

Naturally, the argument reached other districts as well, and among the responses could be found a case of a passenger being asked by the passenger sitting next to him not to order the chicken dish, because his child is vegan.
