The modernity of San Francesco is the title of the lectio magistralis by Father Enzo Fortunato which will take place on August 18 in the cathedral of Scala (Sa) on the Amalfi coast.
An appointment dedicated to the thousands of people who daily follow the Franciscan and above all look to the Saint of Assisi as a beacon in the sea of life.
In the last twenty years, Father Enzo Fortunato has concentrated on the rediscovery and dissemination of Franciscanism and, with his lectio, he will try to understand the relevance and modernity of those words of eight hundred years ago.
"St. Francis, loved by believers and non-believers, by simple people and intellectuals of all times, attracts today more than ever .."
The lectio, which will also answer some questions - is whoever says that Steve Jobs, like modern marketing and communications organizations, drew on the mendicant orders of the Middle Ages right? - will also be broadcast on Father Enzo Fortunato's Facebook page and by Ansa.it
