About the place:
This special site - where the monkeys move freely in the forest, among the visitors - was born in the 1970s as a living area, to which monkeys were brought to protected territory.
The place was later declared an animal shelter, and became an educational-tourism project.
Today it is possible to walk among the monkeys and even feed them food that suits them, which is purchased at the entrance.
Instead of animals from other species - from deer to parrots.

squirrel monkeys, macaque monkeys, green garden monkeys, cappuccino, lemur and more.

The Israeli Monkey Sanctuary

About the place: The
monkey shelter in the Ben Shemen forest is a rescue center that operates under the organization that rescues and rehabilitates monkeys.
Monkeys that have been kept illegally or in harsh conditions are brought to the place.
The section open to the public allows tours for private visitors or groups, and from time to time various activities are held here for the whole family.
Also on site: extreme sports complex and gymboree for the little ones.

The Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem

secret of the charm of the biblical zoo in Jerusalem lies not only in the large variety of animals that inhabit it, but also in its impressive location, between mountains and hills. The garden, which covers an impressive area of about 250 dunams, is home to more than a thousand owners life. safari, officially named "Ramat Gan Zoological Center", is one of the largest and most popular animal complexes in Israel.
It covers about a thousand acres of open space where you move in your private car among many hundreds of wildlife of different species.
Next to the open areas, there is a zoo where you can walk.

Orangutan Sumatra, the Egyptian baboon, the gorilla of the western lowlands, lemur kata, black macaque and more.
