(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 17 - A new obligatory path for companies that decide to close or relocate and - in the event of non-compliance - fines (2% of the turnover of the last year) and inclusion in a 'black list' (which prohibits 3 years access to public funding or incentives). This is foreseen in the draft of the draft decree which the Minister of Labor Andrea Orlando and the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alessandra Todde are working on. The draft, made up of 5 articles, establishes prior information obligations and commits the company to submit a plan to mitigate the employment and economic losses associated with the closure.
"Our goal is not to hit toutcourt restructuring. We do not want to blame those who make turnarounds because they have to switch to different production models, we certainly do not have companies that live on subsidies. Competitiveness is the goal, but purely speculative attitudes are no longer acceptable. Who he is not in crisis and wants to cut, he can do it.
