Entry rules have been in effect for those returning to travel since August.

Bavaria has now set the fine.

In the event of violations, vacationers have to pay up to 2,000 euros.

Munich - Vaccinated, recovered or tested - these are the entry rules for travelers returning, which have been in effect for all of Germany since August 1st.

Even those who want to return to their Bavarian homeland must show a negative corona test or a complete vaccination certificate or have recovered from the age of 12.

Registration is also compulsory for some areas.

This has so far been checked by the Bavarian border police with the help of veil investigators.

There are also controls at the airports.

How much the violations will be punished, however, was not yet known.

The Bavarian Ministry of Health has now published its catalog of fines.

Anyone who violates entry regulations in the future now knows what penalties await them.

Fines catalog: This is how expensive it gets for vacationers without proof from a corona area

The amount of the fines is based on the holiday area from which the person who violates the rules comes from.

Accordingly, there is a subdivision of the fines into virus variant area, high-risk area and all other vacation countries.

The Robert Koch Institute announces the risk areas.

So if you enter from a virus variant area and cannot present any or only incomplete documents on your current corona status, you can expect a fine of around 1,000 euros.

Every holidaymaker must also register his or her entry into Germany from a virus variant area.

Those who do not have to pay 1,000 euros as well.

If the registration is not submitted within 24 hours, another 1,000 are due.

Catalog of fines: Those who oppose the quarantine have to pay a fine of up to 2000 euros

Vaccinated, recovered and tested holidaymakers from a high-risk area, for example Turkey, who did not register when they entered the country, pay a fine of 1,000 euros. Anyone who enters the country as an unvaccinated person from a high-risk area without the required test will be charged EUR 500. The catalog of fines “Entry Quarantine Ordinance” also states: People who return from an area without a classification, neither vaccinated nor tested, pay a fine of 250 euros.

It can get even more expensive if the quarantine obligation is violated: A fine of up to 2,000 euros applies here.

On the one hand, all travelers who come from a virus variant area must be quarantined in Germany.

For vaccinated people, however, the quarantine obligation can be waived if the vaccine against the variant is effective.

On the other hand, all unvaccinated people who come from a high-risk area must be in quarantine.

For those who have been fully vaccinated and recovered, the isolation obligation ends as soon as they upload the relevant proof to the entry portal.

Anyone who invites guests to come to them despite the quarantine has to reckon with 600 euros.

It is important, however, that the penalties are only indicative.

The responsible district administrative authority decides how severely the violations will ultimately be punished.

Coronavirus: Carriers can also expect hefty fines for violations

Only transport companies such as airlines, railways or buses hit harder penalties.

They are obliged to check their passengers according to the valid entry documents.

For areas without classification this is 5,000 euros, for high-risk areas 7,500 euros and for a virus variant area a whopping 10,000 euros.
