(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 17 - The toll of the victims of the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit Haiti on Saturday continues to rise: the latest official count is at least 1,419 dead and 6,900 injured.
The first aid arrives, but the armed gangs are rampant in the country and hinder their arrival at their destination.
Meanwhile, the tropical storm Grace is approaching, for which a yellow alert has been issued.
