Sheep festival, six days of celebration in Lazio

Double weekend at Fabrica di Roma, in the province of Viterbo, for the Sheep Festival, scheduled for the last two weekends of August and precisely on the days of 20-21-22-27-28-29 August for a total of six days of celebration. The food and wine festival, which celebrates ten years of programming, is set up at the foot of the historic center of the Lazio locality, in the main square of the Market (Mother Teresa of Calcutta square, Vallette locality). The event is organized by the Committee of the Celebrations of the SS. Matteo and Giustino together with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Fabrica di Roma in compliance with the distancing measures and health regulations in the period of Covid-19 emergency. The event, which combines a themed gastronomic proposal with live music entertainment,has as its protagonists the novelty of the sheep meatballs with sauce and fried cutlets, which will make up the menu, à la carte and at the choice of the diners, together with the classic proposals such as the shepherd's maxi appetizer, the gnocchi with mutton and amatriciana, the ravioli of sheep, grilled sheep, pork and sheep sausages.
