Taliban spokespersons Suhail Shaheen told Sky News that Afghan women will be able to access education, including university, under Taliban rule, adding that women will have to wear hijab but not burqa.
Suhail Shaheen also said that "thousands" of schools continue to operate.
The group has already announced a "general amnesty" in Afghanistan and reassured those who had worked with the previous government: "Their property will be saved and their honor and their lives will be safe."
