The Deauville Festival brings Dune, Johnny Depp and Oliver Stone to the stage

Denis Villeneuve's SF fresco was the film kept secret from this edition which will see Delphine de Vigan and Garance Marillier sit on the jury of Charlotte Gainsbourg.


The organizers of the Deauville American Film Festival had promised a surprise film and they kept their word lavishly. The spectators of the Norman festival which takes place from September 3 to 12 will be able to discover the large SF fresco by Denis Villeneuve which transposes with Timothée Chalamet the cult novel by Frank Herbert. The adaptation, one of the most anticipated feature films of the season, has just been unveiled out of competition in Venice and will also be presented at the Toronto Film Festival where Villeneuve will be honored.
